As you are also aware,  on that occasion of celebrating 25 years we also set up the alumni association of our department   in which our Venu Sharma was elected as President along with other office bearers.
After our get together Dec 2014 -  a  few office bearers  met successively and the first thing we did was to create a working committee comprising members namely Ronald Anil Fernandes, Surendra Shetty,   Florine Roche,  Smitha Shenoy,  Yogeesh Holla, Krishna Kishore,  Krishnamohana  Talengala, Venu Vinod…etc.,    apart from President Venu Sharma.   The committee members  have been  working relentlessly from January  itself,  discussing, holding meetings,  running here and there to complete some formalities to register MAAM, opening a bank account in the name of MAAM   and other formalities to be followed.   We have opened a bank account in the main branch of SCDCC Bank in Mangaluru.   Venu Vinod has come up with a beautiful logo for MAAM and we have printed stationary items.  Two Whatsapp group of MAAM are also active exchanging information and ideas among members. A new email id reachtomaam@gmail has been created for easy communication.
The committee members have been meeting regularly at President Venu Sharma’s office for meetings in our endeavor to make MAAM a functional alumni association. It is also MAAM’s official working office from now on.   It was during these discussions we decided to conduct a programme and events  befitting MAAM.
